I recently installed the X10 headset on my Honda CBR650R, and it has completely transformed group riding. The Mesh technology is outstanding, allowing our group of seven riders to connect instantly without complicated pairing chains. The range is impressive, easily holding a clear conversation up to 1500 meters, which is essential when the group gets separated by traffic. What’s even better is the freedom of the network interconnection mode, which lets me chat seamlessly with riders miles away via the network.
The audio quality is crystal clear thanks to the fantastic dual hardware and software noise cancellation. Even when cruising on the highway at high speeds, the intercom voice comes through clearly, and background wind noise is minimal. I also love the Multi-Audio Concurrency feature; I can share my music with another rider while simultaneously maintaining the group intercom—a real game-changer for long trips. The added bonus of voice control means my hands stay safely on the handlebars.
Durability is another major plus. The unit has an IP67 waterproof rating, so I don’t worry about getting caught in the rain.
